We met at Firefly Music Festival in 2021 while waiting in the crowd for The Killers to come on. Well, technically Shanna met some of Matt’s friends first and then met Matt later, but that’s close enough.

We were best friends for a while before we ever started dating, which is probably a huge part of why we work so well together. Our first official date was at Dave & Buster’s, where Matt juggled skeeballs in an attempt to impress Shanna, apparently, it worked.

Once we actually started dating, we knew pretty quickly that this was it. We really are two peas in a pod and genuinely just love hanging out together. We can genuinely say we are each other’s best friends. We love live music (especially Mt. Joy), playing pool, cooking dinner at home, and spending time with our little family - our dogs, Louie and Kelso, and our cat, Norrie.

We’ve gotten to go from best friends, to dating, to building a whole life together, and now we get to get married with all of our favorite people there.
